The much-awaited Annual Day of AMNS International School (Grade 3 and 4) was celebrated with grandeur on 24 th January’ 2025. The event revolved around the powerful and thought-provoking theme of ‘Farmers and their Struggle’ paying tribute to the resilience, sacrifices, and contributions of farmers in shaping our nation.

The evening commenced with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp and a prayer seeking blessings of the divine power.

As part of the celebrations, the Annual Report was presented, highlighting the various curricular and co-curricular activities conducted throughout the year. The report showcased the academic achievements, innovative projects, and extracurricular engagements that enriched students’ learning experiences. Special recognition was given to students who excelled in state-level competitions in sports, debates, science exhibitions, and performing arts, bringing laurels to the institution.

The cultural performances beautifully depicted the struggles and triumphs of farmers through soul-stirring dance performances and gripping drama enactments. Students showcased their talent through expressive folk dances, highlighting the hardships faced by farmers and their unwavering spirit. A moving skit portrayed the journey of farmers, their daily challenges, and the need for support and recognition in society.

A special segment was dedicated to unsung heroes like Laxman Singh and Kisan Chachi, who have played a significant role in transforming the agricultural landscape in India. Laxman Singh, known for reviving traditional water conservation techniques in Rajasthan, has helped farmers combat drought through sustainable water management.

Similarly, Kisan Chachi, an inspiring woman farmer from Bihar, has revolutionized organic farming and empowered rural women to take up agriculture as a means of self-reliance. Their stories served as a beacon of hope, motivating students to appreciate and support the farming community.

The event also featured musical performances and a visual presentation emphasizing the significance of agriculture and the role of farmers in our economy. The audience was deeply moved by the performances, which served as a reminder of the need to respect and uplift the farming community.

The Annual Day concluded heartfelt vote of thanks. The evening ended on a high note, leaving everyone with a deep sense of appreciation for the struggles and perseverance of farmers.

The event was a grand success, leaving a lasting impact on the audience and reinforcing the message of gratitude and solidarity towards our farmers.
